This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs the use of all ServerGurus infrastructure services. By using our services, you agree to comply with this policy.
Prohibited Activities
You may not use our services for: distribution of malware, viruses, or ransomware; sending unsolicited bulk email (spam); hosting content that violates Indian law or international law; DDoS attacks or network abuse; cryptocurrency mining without prior written approval; child exploitation material (zero tolerance, reported to authorities); phishing or identity theft; IP address spoofing or unauthorized network scanning.
Resource Usage
You agree not to use resources in a way that degrades service for other customers. Excessive CPU, bandwidth, or I/O usage beyond your plan limits may result in throttling or a request to upgrade.
Security
You are responsible for securing your servers, applications, and credentials. You must promptly address any security vulnerabilities or compromises. We reserve the right to suspend compromised services to protect our network.
Backups & Data Responsibility
Maintaining current, independent backups of your data and configurations is your responsibility unless you have purchased a written managed-backup service. ServerGurus is not liable for data loss, corruption, or inaccessibility resulting from your use of the services, security lapses on your side, malware or ransomware, or any hardware, software, or network event. You remain responsible for the security posture of everything you run on our infrastructure.
Enforcement
Violations may result in: warning and request to remediate, temporary service suspension, permanent termination without refund. We report illegal activity to the appropriate authorities.
Reporting Abuse
Report abuse to [email protected]. We investigate all reports within 24 hours.
